Juxta Architects

Juxta ArchitectsCustom website and CMSLive since November 2025

A custom Next.js and Sanity platform for an Ottawa architecture firm, replacing a dated WordPress site with one built for search and run by the firm itself.

The Juxta Architects home page: a large photo of a dark gambrel-roofed building in a forest, under the firm’s grey and orange wordmark and navigation.

Juxta Architects is an architecture firm in Ottawa. Its website ran on a dated WordPress install that the firm had outgrown.

Malovey Labs replaced it with a custom platform built on Next.js and Sanity. It was built to rank on search from the start, and so the firm can keep it up to date themselves, without depending on a developer for every change.

  • The NCC Riverhouse Rehabilitation project page on the Juxta Architects site: a large photo of the restored 1917 boathouse, with location, completion year, project type and client listed beside the project description.
Every project gets its own page: photography, details and the story.
  • The Juxta Architects projects index: full-width project images stacked under a Featured Projects heading.
The projects index, filled straight from the firm’s CMS.
  • The Juxta Architects home page on a phone: the wordmark and menu, a photo of a heritage train station, and the firm’s introduction.
The same site on a phone.
